Update from the Heritage Presbytery Women's Ministry

Hope you all have been enjoying the first part of summer!  We are incredibly excited about the Transformed: Philadelphia PCA women's conference is will be held on September 30 - October 1st.

Have you registered for September's Transformed conference?

We, as your new Heritage Presbytery Women's Ministry Committee, have been meeting while praying for both you and your upcoming opportunities in these Gospel-centered gatherings.

Although we were formally introduced at our region's Annual Spring Meeting a few months back, we'd like to warmly introduce ourselves once again:

  • Pam Perkins, President
  • Amy Huffman, Vice President
  • Donna McQuillin, Secretary
  • Mary Anest, Treasurer

As you plan for this next year's Women's Ministry in and through your church, we would like to encourage you to promote the Transformed conference.  What ideas do you have in mind to help promote the exciting event just north of Delaware in Bryn Mawr, PA?  One of the ideas we think is adaptable:  making Transformed your church's Women's Retreat (you could sit together and listen to our main speaker, Melissa Kruger).  It can certainly be a bonus for as the other logistics have been taken care of for you  Whether you have your own "in-church" retreat this year or not, all we ask is that you encourage at least one key woman/fellow church member to travel with you if an entire group cannot attend.

Remember this and run with it: because there are discounted rates (and a Reformed University Fellowship speaker!) for high school and college-age, can we trust God that many younger-generation women will feel like you're reaching out to them, praying for them, and inviting them?

A second idea to display in your church facility between now and mid-September: make a poster featuring the ones who have signed up* while letting others know how excited you'd be to spend such significant time together, ready to go into autumn-winter-spring impacting other females in your own family, your congregation, and the neighborhoods near your church. [*You can get a copy of the Transformed promotional poster, here...]
